[04JUN23] decided to get estrells cake for an event today. Was planning to drive by but checked out their parking instead. So if you are for pickup drive thru, dont miss the entrance as it is a one way flow traffic in their pickup curb, you can always park in their very spacious free parking, no security lot. Its a good 50 mtr walk i think to the store.Across the shop there is a designated (i think) parking for motorcycle. I noticed a security there.Inside the shop is very cozy and cold. The staff are all nice and friendly. They have restroom too.No urinal though but has toilet for all deeds. 🙂

The cake is very delicious. The soft sponge and the delectable caramel filling which is not too sweet was too good a mix. If I may loosely take an analogy of a magic show - the pledge was the look of the cake, the turn was the wait for the cake and the taste of course was the prestige! PS..This Review is by a friend of mine ,who tasted the cake..

ChrisPie Vlogz07:53 01/16/23
Estrel's has a very good reputation amongst people who are cake enthusiasts and for good reason. The cake that we ordered was soft and velvety. It wasn't too sweet and it wasn't too heavy on the cream. The layers were delicious and it does not overwhelm the senses.Texture-wise it was fluffy, it wasn't grainy and was easy in the mouth, almost like melting. The elderly will have no problems eating their cakes and they don't use hardening agents either. They allow delivery for long distances and always arrive on time.

Lord-Art Lomarda06:50 01/14/23
Cakes are just ok, nothing stellar. Nice design though. Order ahead of time to guarantee a cake.

A.L. Abastillas05:03 01/05/23
Best caramel cake ever. Very simple but execution is flawless. The cake is moist and the icing isn't very sweet. You can try also the Food for the gods, chocolate cookies, Leche Flan and Sansrival. If you want to buy their cake, either reserve one or go there at opening hours, because they sell extremely fast.

Cara B18:13 07/23/23
Recently placed an order for a custom cake here (see photo) - 👍🏻Affordable, looked good, and the cake underneath the (very durable) fondant was moist & tasty enough.Received positive feedback from guests at the party where said cake was served. [Those happy guests and I all share the common experience of having had dry, bland cake under a pretty fondant exterior, made by custom cake shops that we know charge a hefty price.]I appreciate that each tier of the cake can have different flavors (options are vanilla, chocolate, mocha & lemon). Merced's staff also sends a text/SMS reminder on the day of your cake pickup, to ensure you pick it up before their closing time at 5pm (especially for those who'll bring the cake to a dinner event, like I did).If you want a customized cake design, even if it's just to tweak one of the existing designs on their catalogue, better place the order in person at the shop.🛎️ The wait staff on duty (when I went on a Sunday morning) was way more proactive and customer-oriented; he listened to what I wanted to change in the catalogue design, why I wanted it changed (to suit the party's theme), and was then able to make meaningful suggestions to pin down key details of a cake design I'd be happy with. He even had the initiative to offer me & my companion their dine-in menu just in case we felt like having a snack; we had no intention of dining there that time, but ended up taking the bait after seeing comfort food on the menu -- this guy deserves an employee award. 👏🏻📱...This is in stark contrast with the custom-cake-contact-person on Viber who ironically isn't able to suggest any design ideas/alternatives, and more disappointingly doesn't seem keen to close the deal with an eager buyer (I had to keep chasing her, asking how to make a DP and how we can finalize / settle on a cake design).💰 Note: Custom cake order can only be paid in cash (inc. GCash or online bank transfer) i.e., 🚫 💳, and it has to be paid upfront, so better come prepared with the moolah (or the means to send it online) when you drop by their shop to place your order.☝🏻Tip: Check both the designs online and the ones in their hard copy portfolio at the shop because there are some designs that you'll only see on either the hardcopy or the website.________________________What I normally buy here:🎁 For gifting: ube dimples (a hit with balikbayans), canónigo, pineapple tart/pie😛 For myself: shing-a-ling, cassava chips, pinipig polvoron, sylvanas, egg pie

If you care more about flavorful food than photgraphs then eat at Merced. Nothing about this place is instagrammable (see the pics as.proof). Instead, it focuses on serving consistently good food; no need for fancy decor and themes. The only thing worthy of really snapping a photo of would be the beaming staff as they proudly serve your food, a manifestation of how much they care for quality.

Jana L. S.05:37 12/23/22
Merced Bakeshop in Edsa QC does not give senior or PWD discount except on dine-ins. And they misspelled the dedication of Lola Lita and put Lolo Lita! Only found out when we got home! Now too late to change it and the little boy is very disappointed coz the cake was his gift for his Lolo n Lola n Merced Bakeshop messed up with the dedication. Very poor customer service.

Abbie Santos-Dulay15:27 03/04/22
They were very accommodating and friendly. And their cakes are still so yummy even through the years! Their marshmallow icing cakes are still the best for this sweet tooth! 😍😍😍

Last time, I received an invitation to attend and cover a forum at Kamuning Bakery called the Pandesal Forum...Since this was actually my first visit, I was amazed by the bakery shop's history. Food was more than worth it for the price. Sure wish to have tried eating here before the fire happened. Then again, liking the rustic/unfinished vibe and looking forward to their renovation ☺️Will definitely come back!

Nov 2022: First time to try this bakery. So far, everything we ordered from the birthday pancit with lumpiang shanghai, mocha chiffon dedication cake, pugon roasted chicken and Christmas fruitcake were delicious! Big portions and prices were very affordable. Thank you for the free ube pandesal! Highly recommended 👍

Engelbert Tabones13:30 07/17/22
I was told this Egg Pie was their flag product and it was good; creamy, jiggly, and i like its thin crust. I have yet to try their Pan De Suelo, also their bestseller.

Hamil Shi03:34 04/19/22
This place was really difficult to locate in google, as it does not accurately pinpoint the place. After several passes, finally i found it. And boy, was it really different from the pictures i see in the reviews Turns out, this place got burned down several years ago, and is still under construction. So, it's kind of awkward to really dine in. But, since i was already there, i ordered a basic meal.As basic as it goes & with no ambience to flaunt about, prices are also affordable. And tastes are also basic. They have lots of things going around, as many people would really come here for their breads & pastries.Funny, that some of their breads are named after the candidates running in this upcoming elections. When i inquired why, would some candidates, hold their meetings in such a small place and in a fire, ravaged place, i was informed that the owner is a media columnist of a famous newspaper. And, he knows these prominent people. So, this place is really a paradox of sorts. But if you want meals that are affordable or pastries for that matter, you can visit this place. Not much parking, though.

Desserts we always go back to. Except that staff wasn't so attentive. They forgot to punch our order of their famous revel bars we love

Been a loyal customer for years but recently, we noticed that their Rustic chocolate torte have more cream in the middle instead the wafers🤨

Paolo Jose L Sevilla09:17 07/27/22
3 stars coz the croissants and other sandwiches are all gone by 10am! And there's no replenishment! But the food is grrrrrrrreat! Everything else, like the cakes and other pastries are available though... usually. Check their baking schedule! And, come early!

Caren Aguado18:44 12/31/21
Love their White Chocolate Sansrival. At Php 1,100 it truly has value for money compared to its competitors selling premium cakesTheir baked goods is also good: revel bars, food for the gods, crinklesTheir system where you can order in advance and pre-pay it is truly efficient. At least you can get the cake you want during the holiday season as opposed to the others where you will just settle for whatever that’s delivered 😉

Andy Duave13:14 10/21/20
If you haven't visited Purple Oven, then you're missing out a lot!..😋😋😋They serve the best cakes, pastries, cookies, brownies, desserts any sweet tooth could ever find!.. 🥮🥧🍪🎂🍮Their Scout Rallos Branch is the most convenient location that they have for those people who are living in the Quezon City area. All their products are served fresh, using the best quality ingredients, sprinkled with a lot of love..😍😍😍Personally, I can't get enough of their Chocolate Campfire, it's my "comfort cake.." 🥰🥰🥰Come and visit Purple Oven.. Trust me, you won't regret it..😘😘😘

It's around lunchtime, and rain was pouring hard... a quick left to Arton Strip along Katipunan, we found ourselves at Conti's.We ordered crab and corn soup and the hearty club house sandwich. The soup hit the spot in the cold and wet weather 👍The hearty club house was really hearty - it was made with French toast bread instead of regular toast bread. The thick slice of ham was tender and tasty, and the bacon was done well.All-in-all, the lunch was perfect for an unplanned visit.Of course, the experience would not be complete without the warm staff.

Bagnet Bacon, Garlic Longganisa and Tapa are really good choice for brunch ❤️ i really like the sunny side egg 🍳.Free parking is a plus. Loved the place since its overlooking

Sheree Velasquez10:01 06/12/23
Food was pretty good, restaurant is clean & has nice view and an amazing staff. This is probably one of the few placesthat has kept its authenticity. It was my first time dining with this place. Joyce (server) who was very kind, relaxed and polite in dealing with us. We instantly got our seat. There’s an outdoor seating with a good view of Manila. Place was calm& decently clean and staff are approachable. I got pesto pasta with seafood which is kinda garlicky(i do love garlic on pesto sauce) and an ube custard cake. My parents were satisfied on Salmon Salpicao with mango shake and Mango Bravo for dessert. Cakes were the best. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Truly my favorite guilty pleasure and place to go to when I visit again my family. Thank you for making ourholiday weekend worthwhile.

purple tooth03:46 01/18/23
The al fresco, the view is a good place to relax. Very senior friendly because of the available lift in the complex. But the food is too salty. They over timpla the baked salmon and prawns. 1/4 lang nakain ko sa salmon. We really regret ordering it. And for the prawns, I love prawns so I decided to eat it (lunok then water para deadma sa alat). Same comments of my friends I’m dining with. (Not the first time we’re ordering the salmon and prawns btw). It’s our go to food sa Conti’s Greenbelt.Waiting time is deadly. Was promised 15-25 minutes, but we got our order for about an hour with lots of followup with the crew.Very poor service.Service was very slow. Asking for water took time, even for extra spoon and fork. Ang hassle to request paulit ulit. (To think na hindi naman crowded that time).Mange bravo lost its magic taste. :(Bawi na lang sa pastries, cheese and chicken puffs were good, and the lengua!

Francesca Angeles07:23 12/12/22
This is by far my favorite Conti’s branch because of the lovely view. I love the meal selections especially the pastries. Must try the cheese puffs! You can bring your pets too! Outside seating is okay for pets 🙂

This new location is now better; it's huge, cozy, and has a view of the Rizal area. Baked Salmon is always a great choice. Bacon Bagnet and Pork Chops are good choices for brunch.Outstanding service. They have parking in front and a basement.

Loved the cake here! We tried Devil's Food Cheesecake and it's a game changer lol. Overall the place was clean and the staffs are super nice . I learned that the price is cheaper if you buy on their store. They accept credit cards and Gcash I believe. Plus there's also a security guard for safety! Will definitely order again here

Tried the Dulce cheesecake, quattro leches, red velvet, and blackforest cheesecake. Liked all of them so far. Much better than red ribbon or goldilocks. I have preference for cakes with cream cheese so I would recommend dulce cheesecake and red velvet cake.

Easy to order via their website. The instructions on the email were thorough and I did not encounter issues with the pickup. The brazo cake was not very sweet and just hits right. We need to try more of their stuff.

Hands down BEST UBE CAKE to have tasted!! 😋Hope they expand their business to the southies of luzon, thats the only knock on not having that extra ⭐️

Andrea Pineda08:33 04/24/23
Per my personal experience, expect that:1. Customer service is not that good and accomodating.2. The Caramel Cake is not moist and bit dry. Sweetness will be 11/10. If you have strong tastebuds for sugar— maybe it’s for you.3. Although it’s the fault of courier via car, design is messed up as security of the box is not that tight. Like its just 1 scotch in each side. No strap/tie to hold it up and box is soft.Good for experience but not worthy to try again.💔

Kat C09:18 03/24/23
We had the sampler and the only good tasting were the caramel and (maybe) the ube. The tiramisu and strawberry one god bad the day after even though it is chilled. Order also took a long time to dispatch even when there is a scheduled pickup. Kawawa the riders, they should consider them.

Jeyah Ilagan17:01 07/26/22
I had to reschedule my pick-up time thrice and they have accommodated me very well. No problems with transactions. Scheduled via lalamove and everything went well. Thank you! Brazo cake is my mom's favorite, she's very happy.
