Visited around 5pm. The staff were grumpy. Good thing the mini ensaymada, cheese bread and coffee cake was good. Difficult parking.

Walnut Prune cake is my all time fave...now my new fave is their walnut cherry brownies. I got the chance to see their new pricelist as of march 2023. If u want to reserve your fave cake or pastries just call their local landline number. Yes they dont have a cell #. That's why I gave only 4 stars hehe! Also because they dont accept advance orders and dont have other modes of payment like gcash or maya or online bank transfer. But u need to pick it up on the same day as they cant hold your orders for a long time due to space constraints.they dont have other modes of payment except cash.however u can order thru grab or lalamove at your own risk esp if you order their cakes.

Its been more than a decade since i was here.Dropped by to get my all time favorite walnut brownies and the swiss chocolate cake. Prices have always been reasonable and still are.If ever you are in the area, come here for the sweets! To add, i do appreciate the guards ensuring the max number of people to be let inside, thus the chairs for those waiting outside.

Price is reasonable. We like it! Will definitely order again.Effort to buy if you don't plan to go in-store since they do not deliver and have no online shop. They only accept cash payment. I was informed that some customers use 'pabili' service of food apps.We tried:Swiss Chocolate CakeSampler of browniesCrinklesCherry walnut brownies

Missed the ensemayda..and braso de mercedes always to go...hoping that they will open soon again with the same heritage pastries that had us coming back especially on special occasions...frequented by mostly senior persons with penchant for class and good ,endless conversation.

Kaylin Ang04:48 05/24/23
For the longest time, they've been my family's go-to cake for almost every occasion! Very happy they have expanded their designs. Their ensaymada and mocha cakes are a must try!

Nina Custodio07:50 10/18/22
They don't have dine-ins now. Oy take out. The lucban longanisa was good. They didn't have quezo de bola when we went so you may want to call them and ask first. (If that's what you plan on buying)

Jason King01:44 02/01/22
The mocha cake and ensaymada are still the best there is! The toasted yema was meh. Pañolon looks better than it tastes. Owner was not friendly nor accomodating at all.

Kelvin Evangelista13:12 02/02/19
The place gives you a homey feel, with a touch of class that is not over bearing. With a lot of history. Food is great but what I love is the sweetend yam sweet potato side dish. Esyaimada priced is quite expensive but forgivable due to it's fluffiness and rich cheesy flavor. Will come back to try other viands

They're popular for their cakes but they also serve lunch and dinner meals so you can enjoy that dessert after indulging yourself with their offered Filipino meals.

Stopped in for dessert after dinner at Frankie’s inside the Robinson Mall. We got a mini Blueberry Cheesecake & what a great choice to make! It’s my first time here but not my last! The 👨 inside was very kind in asking if I needed any additional help. The cheesecake was super yummy!

I am always happy when I find Conti’s on my way! Today I got a lovely Mango Tart!

Chih-Wei Lin05:57 08/27/22
Coffee is good. With their breads.Pasta taste well too.Only fabulous cakes not all available.Need to wait the kitchen confirm if slice already.

Patrick Trinidad08:59 06/25/22
I had a bite of Conti’s cakes here and there. This is the first time I have dined in so I was able to focus on what this place is famous for— sinful cakes! After a greasy dinner at Silya (meant as a compliment!) of course your instincts will tell you to run to the nearest sweets depot. Conti’s has been on my wish list for quite some time and I truly enjoyed their cakes. Yes, CAKES! We had two slices…the famous mango bravo ( you really need to taste this!) and almond chocolate slice ( like sans rival) and both are truly out of this world! Just indulge on it and worry about the calories and sugar count later!I do hope they can serve decaf as well. They even ran out of tea last night!

The best palabok in manila by far. Service is good orice is very reasonable. Home cook feel good food.

Fast service, variety of food to choose from and cozy place.Breads & pastry are also available.Nice place to dine in.Free parking on the street.

I love their breads and pastries! A cute pastry restaurant serving rice meals and merienda meals. Adequate sitting capacity. Good service of staff. The food is ok but not that appetizing. Perfect for small meetings. Still I have reason to comeback. Road side parking only.

Vin M08:13 04/17/20
Food is good. A lot of variety to choose from pancit to rice meals. They serve more than the usual. They have vast choices of pastries too. They have nice cakes.Place is easy to spot because it is just around the corner and the color is noticeable.

Aireen01:44 12/10/19
🌸Food - this place is a combination of Asian foods which are Filipino, Japanese, and Korean food. But we went here for breakfast and tried their rice meals. I ordered their bangus and it's okay for me. For me their palabok is really good. And after that, you can order desserts either cakes or Korean ice creams. They also have milktea bit they only have 2 flavors. They have a variety of breads and pastries that you may wanna try or bring pasalubong to your loved ones before going home. I bought rhe pineapple pie, macapuno pie and it's okay too.💮Staff/service - they are a bit friendly and the service was timely. There were enough numbers of staffs and they also have guard at the entrance so you'll feel secure here. They could still improve their connection with their customers.🌸Place - When you get to enter the place, their breads and pastries will welcome you. They also have comfort rooms and this place allows you to connect with their Wi-Fi which for me is a plus so you can stay here just like in coffee shops. They also have two TVs inside the shop which allows customers to feel at home.🌺 Recommend - 👍

Their chocolate flavored foods are very delicious. Highly recommended for chocolate lovers. And it's a budget friendly shop.

Dr. Gil02:22 10/01/20
The cake is layered into a topmost chocolate chocolate followed by chocolate icecream and the bottom most layer with chocolate cake.Taste: 2.5 i wished to have a thicker cake layer rather than the icecream layerThe sweetness was a little too much.Presentation: 4/5 Amazing presentation

Isabel Chua09:13 11/08/18
I'm not fond of chocolate cakes but this one is so delicious! 😍 It's our first time ordering dream cakes and I didn't know it was so small but it doesn't matter because it's so perfect.

The place was packed even when it was holiday but it was well-stocked and the personnel were good. The hopias were good but I still prefer Baker's Fair version of it.

Rachel Ann Alcantara02:52 03/09/23
Almond Jelly (P42.00)Rating: 9/10I love gelatin and it tasted like one, sooo.Ube Loaf Bread (P45.00)Rating: 8/10Basically a stretched out monay with looots of ube! I really hope they can spread the fillings more evenly especially the heel of the bread which didn't have any. It's a crowd favorite even though it's a bit on the dry side.Egg Pie (P195.00)Rating: 8/10Definitely not the best one out there. Custard was dense. It's neither creamy nor smooth yet quite addicting, to be fair. Or I like egg pies that much? Everyone else barely finished their slice.I prefer the pudding-like texture of Goldilock's but this will suffice when you need a quick fix of your egg pie cravings for a fraction of the price.Service: 9.5/10Long line on a Tuesday afternoon but the cashier was agile, we're done in no time. Only issue was they didn't have enough stock of the asado roll.Ambience: 9/10Spacious and clean bakery with plenty of items to choose from.

Rick Lu13:25 02/25/23
Well known purveyor of chinoy pastries including flaky black monggo hopia, chiffoney mamon, brioche like ube ensaymada, freshly baked savory and sweet filled buns etc. Tried the mung bean paste hopia with black coffee and was not disappointed. Tip-Eng Bee Tin, another chinese-filipino bakery along Ongpin, has long queues for its varieties of chinoy baked delights. Try Salazar which is less busy but equally delightful.

Princess Elle07:42 03/15/22
Very affordable products and staff are friendly too. I love the different variety of breads.

Kay.Tolentino Gaspar06:08 11/02/19
One of the must visit store when you’re in chinatown. They have fresh breads and lots of baked goodies. They have a variety of hopia that comes in different flavours. You can’t help but be amazed with lots of products they have to offer.

Not my first time trying this, but it was my first time dining in! I loved their Cafe Vienna (P140), which is like super yummy whipped cream on top of black coffee and their Nama Chocolate cake (P180), filled with bits of chocolate ❤️

Moncel Selisana07:59 04/29/23
Cakes & pastries are all delicious. This is my number 1 cake shop in Manila. So far, so great. 😍🥰I just don't like about how the manager deal with the customers. They keep on talking and talking. It takes about 20mins for my strawberry shortcake to even serve. Well in fact, the strawberry shortcake was just one of the pastries displayed. 😪I followed it up and it seems that the manager gave a furious look at me.Anyway, maybe its time for them to be trained how to deal nicely with customers next time.I will give 2stars this time.

Gabriel Cervantes08:01 04/25/23
Hearty food. Pricing kinda all over. Hot food is ok priced but bread kinda overpriced. Of all times I went here for dine in or take out, I can’t fathom how the front house staff seems to have an attitude towards everyone while being slow and making mistakes often.I don’t usually get offended by that if it’s rush hour or they are excellent but I have experienced neither. Ironically it is a japanese bakery. Again, food and bread taste very good which is why I’ll continue to pass by when I get groceries next door.

Henry Ian Octobre07:24 02/08/23
Their selection of pastries, chocolates and coffee is on point. The ambiance is great. Great to spend with loved one, or have meetings.

Purple Oven gets my sweet tooth cravings satisfied. I really like their cakes, cookies, brownies, and pretty much everything else. I recommend their cookies and brownies (my favourite at the moment) but honestly, everything is worth trying out. They used to have a dine-in option but not anymore. Must have removed the dine-in option due to the covid regulations. This is great to buy as pasalubong or as a gift for someone and they usually like it.

Jm Cortez06:33 04/26/23
The place is awesome with desserts! We frequently order cakes and brownies here and i personally love their brownies... this time we ordered the sansrival and it tastes good as well

Paula Jeanne19:56 02/11/21
The cakes are all so exciting as they have unique flavors for every age group. So far I have tried the Chocolate camp fire and the Mango torte and I can say 5/5 for both cakes. As per serving size, the cake is approximately 9 inches but it's very thick so it depends on how big you slice the cake. In my opinion a whole cake may be served for 8-10 people.

Violeta Gómez23:14 09/29/20
Cozy place for sweet Lovers. All I have tried was delicious and fresh. They should add a coffe area with seats because It would be a wonderful place to take a cofee and enjoy the pastries. Try the Lemon squares, butter croissants, brownies, lava cake and any loaf ( banana, carrot or wallnuts )They are the BEST. Do not ask the chocolate "croissants",donuts nor sausage rolls. They are plain products, nothing rememberable.

The Game07:21 08/11/18
Came here with no idea which cake should I buy. The staffs kept recommending their Merry Cherry Torte and wow I'm glad I listened! It didn't disappoint! Now I myself highly recommend it! Price is P980 + P20 for the ecobag.

Lalamove or Grab drivers will hate picking up their cakes. I decided to pickup today, mother's day 2023.been eating their cakes in the evening only after it has been refrigerated for a whole day.But i come to write that my god, first time to eat it fresh at noon time. It is amazingly good. took me 30 mins to pickup the cake, but it is beyond worth it. LOLs.I would put it akin to waiting in line at disneyland for 30 minutes to experience that new and amazing ridedelivious. abd worth it!
