Real Customer Reviews at La Dolce Vita:
Noel Gamo16:03 08/03/23We had a great dining experience here. It was totally unexpected for me to taste authentic Italian food on this small island of Camiguin. We ordered pizza, bruschetta, pasta, and some other stuff, and everything was delicious. It took a while for the food to come out, but you can see that they use fresh ingredients and prepare everything from scratch. You can even watch them prepare the pizza, which they cook in a brick oven. Great service and reasonable price. The place was rustic but clean. Block Rocker06:01 07/18/23La Dolce Vita would have to be my favourite Italian restaurant in the Philippines, the food here is so traditional. I had spaghetti Ragu, the sauce was fresh and flavoursome my friend had the spaghetti carbonara it was also amazing. Not a creamy sauce which is traditional. The Bruschetta was delicious small bite size pieces of bread loaded with fresh tomatoes and a little balsamic vinegar. I could of just eaten more and more of it.For desert I had Dolce Amore a rich chocolate center with a thin layer of cream on top and a biscuit bottom it was like a tiramisu with out the coffee in it. A must try if you like dark rich chocolate.Sorry forgot to take some photos but here is a couple I did take. Noel Gamo04:14 07/02/23We had a great dining experience here. Belinda Bolger06:17 06/30/23Perfect pizza but the pork ribs were dry. Mango and banana shakes are lovely.Just across the road from the airport, convenient and very worth the visit. Jan Salabas11:49 06/29/23We ate very well and are also the second time here. Pizza is excellent ambiete good. Service was ok as some got their food after 15 minutes and others only after over 1 hour María Cuco04:48 05/30/23Upon our departure from Camiguin we had lunch in La Dolce Vita right after leaving our luggage in the check in counter. We couldn't have had a better waiting time! The Italian owned restaurant offered 2 pizzas were tasty and not greasy, the 4 formaggi was fantastic. The restaurant was lively with the owner hosting a party for the kids, which made it a bit noisy but nevertheless enjoyable. They even shared a piece of cake with us 🙂 But the best was still to come: a real, strong espresso to finish our lunch. Definitely recommended! Jena Marie Nubla13:00 04/14/23Food was SOOOO GOOD! And AFFORDABLE for its taste and quality!! SULIT! GRABE. Plus it's authentic italian food as the owner is really italian.Service was also good!Atmosphere was okay. There were a lot of cute good dogs around. They eat pizza hahaha. Charissa Mae Amper08:41 12/31/22Delicious brick oven four cheese pizza! Seafood pasta was also good. We also had pollo frita (fried chicken) & ravioli. Capped off my meal with hot cappuccino & panna cotta. ☺️The female staff are nice. Their service needs improvement though...(1) I had to follow up on my coffee. They admitted they forgot to prepare it and they didn't even apologize. 😅(2) When we were leaving the resto, they didn't thank us for dining. Elaine De Los Santos10:47 11/18/22I ordered the “bestsellers” suggested by the wait staff. The 4-cheese pizza was loaded, had soft thin crust, and not too salty. The carbonara was authentic (egg-cheese emulsion, not the usual cream-based) with additional parmesan on the side if you want it extra cheesy. Panna cotta with brewed coffee is the perfect way to end the meal. Service was fast and the dining place was squeaky clean. The restaurant is just outside of the airport entrance and along the main highway — you cannot miss it. Hanna Keith Santos08:57 06/05/22All the food that we ordered are okay, it’s good. The hot sauce for pizza and fried chicken could have been better. The staff are great! Very accommodating and friendly. Angelica Tan09:57 05/04/22This is an authentic Italian restaurant, run by an Italian, right in front of Camiguin Airport.Pizzerias are common in Camiguin because of the foreigners who settled here. But La Dolce Vita, although more pricey than others, offer pizzas with quality ingredients, baked in a wood-fired brick oven. We ordered "Speck E Tartufo" (Php480) - truffle cream, mushroom, garlic and thick prosciutto - really good! Also recommended is their Ravioli (Php420) with a choice of Ragu (tomato based) or white sauce. And since most of the restos don't open until 11am, La Dolce Vita, which opens at 9am is also a breakfast choice for their really good, reasonably priced coffee. Order their American breakfast (Php250) - it's a big plate of bacon, 2 slices of home made bread, butter, jam, fresh slices of mangoes and banana. This comes with a glass of fruit juice and french-press coffee! In a far away small island that doesn't have big hotel resorts for breakfast options and dining, La Dolce Vita is a go-to place where you get your money's worth.

Ramseen Evazians12:04 07/04/23Good overall spot to get some nice food. Not fancy at all, just good basics. Reasonable prices. Michael Torres00:39 06/30/232nd Floor resto is ok. But the BBQ down stair is not that good Eden Sinatao10:23 06/17/23If you are looking for grilled dish, CheckPoint Camiguin is good to go. We dine at 2nd Floor, pizza taste good and lemonade is refreshing in all reasonable price. Is located corner to Paras Beach Resort. Roden Generalao15:15 04/20/23The food is okayish. The taste is just right. Good people and service satisfied. Jena Marie Nubla12:54 04/14/23Slow fulfillment of orders. Took us about 30mins. Serving was also few.Atmosphere was kinda nice. Creative lighting pieces and dining tables and chairs.Food tasted okay. Tuna panga was a bit malansa. But we like the juices and shakes, they're natural flavors, not artificial. Chimmy Ramos09:58 01/10/23November 2022.Credit where it is due.Was surprised with the good cooking. The Pancit Canton and Sweet & Sour Pork took quite long to prepare. This is the restaurant up the stairs. (There are other food outlets on the ground floor.)But well worth the wait. Very good tasting and fair prices.I would return ! Karl Gamolo03:43 09/04/22A great place to chill for the night. We had alcoholic drinks. The bangus sisig was delicious and a must try. Their buffallo wings are okay. Stephanie Stephanie15:01 07/07/19This is a nice cozy place for dining and drinking in Mambajao. The restaurant is open-air, well lighted and nicely decorated. We ordered the combo meal consisting of fish, veggies, meat, rice and drinks. The sizzling fish was not fresh, it had a weird smell and I had allergy after I ate it. The other foods were okay and service was fast. Chelsey Mendoza12:14 03/13/19They serve very tasty foods at affordable price especially the pizzas (vegetarian and BBQ chicken) . They serve also breakfast buffet at 160 per person including coffee and juices, I really like this place. Easy to trace because it's alone the highway.

Real Customer Reviews at Paradiso Hillside restaurant:
Catalina Chilaru14:52 06/10/23I ate at Paradiso restaurant (not Isla cocina as the owner says in the reply trying to blame another restaurant and trying to hide the bad review, such a lier!!!)I do not recommend this place and I'm talking about Paradiso Hillside restaurant ! Exaggerated prices, and the portions are so so small. It's a joke. A total tourist trap. Dishonest alsoDO NOT EAT HERE Guy Shterlich09:15 05/26/23This review relates to the restaurant. We went to grab a quick light dinner. The pizza was OK. But the total experience wasn't that great. The red wine was refrigerator cold and didn't taste fresh enough. We were billed for the plate broken accidentally by my 5 years old daughter, and the toilets condition was disgusting. In general, it wasn't the atmosphere I would expect in a quite high rated Italian restaurant. La 25ème Image12:25 04/23/23🍕 Best pizza of Camiguin! The thick crust was very nice. They have a quite large menu with many options🥤Banana milkshake is vey good as well💬 Had few words with the Italian owner who has been living on the island for more than 40 years!I definitely recommend this place 😍🫶🏻 Just a small suggestion, some bread coming with the pasta would be amazing 👌🏼 Marco Cappiotti11:53 04/14/23Simple menu, the place is cozy, pasta and other dishes are good as u would expect in an Italian restaurant run by Italians the pizza however is better then expected, Neapolitan style cooked in a wood fired oven with a variety of good toppings. NOT the average thin crust found in most Italian places outside Italy 🇮🇹 Alina Al. Barca08:31 03/12/23We had pizza and shakes for lunch here, it was lovely. The food came quickly, service was great, pizza was delicious. 10/10 would recommend. Skycruiser Travel Channel (Eric)02:53 12/05/22By far the best restaurant in town. No doubt.Pizzas are highly recommended and the dough is prepared handmade by the Italian owner. Here it’s possible to find a real good tuna-fish pizza (Tonnata), which is otherwise hard to get around Camiguin.Pastas are good too!The bruschetta is mouthwatering good, I haven’t had a better one before. This restaurant does also do Mexican and Filipino kitchen, but I did not try.Outside seating is limited.Inside the decorations is nice and somewhat Italian/Spanish old-style 👌🏼Staff is friendly.I eat here several times during my stay since this is definitely the best restaurant around. Alex Hill18:13 10/16/22This is honestly the best pizza I've had outside of Italy. The owner uses the best ingredients and authentic techniques to make truly delicious pizza. It's a must-visit if you're on Camiguin for a true taste of Italy. It's really easy to find, right on the highway, and the service was great. I also ate the pasta on another visit and it was also super tasty!

Dianne Mae Abian13:22 08/02/23Best quesadilla we ever tried.. went there for dinner.. the portions were good for two Yannick05:42 06/07/23Great selection of western foods & Filipino classics. Defo worth the visit. What a romantic setting. Overlooking the ocean, yet nice and shady, cute fish pond with clean garden area. The building is nicely crafted with local woods and cement. Stevensonnet Art10:19 06/05/23Better Late Than Never! Although it's a belated review, I couldn't resist sharing my wonderful experience at Casa Roca Inn from a few years ago. It truly stands out as one of the best stays during my trip to Camiguin. The ambiance of the place added a special touch to my visit, and as a sunset enthusiast, I was captivated by the stunning sunset views showcased in the photos shared by other guests. The food was delicious, and the service provided was top-notch. The location, although slightly hidden, offered a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the main roads. Overall, I can't help but express my love for Casa Roca Inn. If you're looking for a tranquil and secluded getaway, this place is an absolute gem! María Cuco11:55 05/25/23We had a calm dinner in Casa Roca Inn.As some reviews already said, the place is a bit deteriorated. The food was fine.We ate grilled fish, that was awesome and drink mango shake (120php) bit overpriced.Quite an average place with nothing remarkable beyond the location.Ohh yes, service was very nice 🙂! Mark H20:29 03/29/23Casa Roca comes very highly recommended on several travel review sites, as well as in Lonely Planet. We contacted the owner, Jim and made the booking with him. He was extremely helpful over text messaging even going as far as to organize our transportation. However, upon arrival after a long 24 hour flight, we quickly realized that he was no longer in Camiguin, having moved elsewhere in Mindanao. The property is well situated. The veranda room is everything we had hoped for, operlooking the ocean. But the property has been left to deteriorate. The bathroom was non-functional. There was no water. The toilet was not flushable. We contacted James requesting him to fix the problem. He did not respond to our messages. The caretaker eventually got a plumber to make it workable. However, future guests need to be aware that water pressure is very low, there was no hot water, the shower doesn't operate as it should and it is very basic. It kind of felt like a "gas station" bathroom. This place has so much potential. I feel sad that it has been left to deteriorate. A couple of bedside lamps, some shelves in the room can make this a stellar choice. The food continues to be good and reasonably priced. The caretaker and other staff were very nice. Mabelle Rizzi12:26 09/22/22We went for dinner at the recommendation of our resort. Low on stock - no kinilaw or beer tonight, which was okay. There were no other guests when we arrived. We ordered wings and fruit shake to start, which arrived after 20 minutes. Shake seemed to be half ice cubes and a half a can of mango juice. The garnish of mango slice was nice at least. Chicken was okay but strangely sweet for Buffalo, which should only be vinegar pepper sauce and margarine. The real issue was the mains. One other group of two arrived 15 minutes after the wings arrived and they were served and nearly done eating by the time our mains got sent. It was an hour to get a piece of fish, a few shrimp, and four crabs, and both had the same simple sides of reheated mixed veg and rice. Marlin and shrimp were both very tough and overcooked. Crabs had turned to mush. Nothing was fresh and nothing was seasoned.Seriously puzzling as the reviews look good and our resort recommended it, but you'd be far better off driving up to Jollibee on this night. Lucile Salvani08:37 06/18/22My go to restaurant in the island!! Just a little bit far from my home but i love the food and the ambiance of the place! The food is really authentic and super worth it for the price! Perfect time to be here is during sunset!! Irene Perez14:36 03/12/22The fillet mignon was deliciously and perfectly-cooked when we first visited it. The quesadilla was also to die for! We decided to come back after 4 days because of our prior good experience...But the fillet mignon was not as good as it was served..The place is so unique! But the food experience was our reason of going there... It could be a 5 but with our repeat experience, we question this establisment's consistency. JD Mac05:45 12/17/19One of my favorite places in the Philippines. Owners Jim and Evelyn are outstanding hosts. Great food at reasonable prices. The view of sea and sunsets is the icing on the cake. A truly special place with a laid back vibe. W Y (WM)04:20 10/26/19Lovely food and great view. Thank you Casa Roca Inn. Perfect place to spend a lovely afternoon to have some food and drinks. Price are reasonable for the quality and amount of food offered. If you go in the day time, ocean view and some quiet breeze. Also the iced fruit tea, homemade with real fruits for only 80P! Will definitely come back again next time.

María Cuco10:40 05/29/23We went there after visiting Mantigue Island. For us was the best restaurant in that part of the island. We ordered, Calamares as starter and a local fish as main dish.We definitely would come back. kathleen pamesa02:17 05/22/23We love the tinola and kinilaw! Staff is very attentive too. The area around the lake has many restaruants, good place to dine after going to Mantigue Island. Food is a bit on the pricier side. Dianni Baby12:06 04/01/235 slices of fish in the sinigang soup, food is too salty and very expensive. This is clearly a tourist trap! Food is overcooked. Run away from this place. Emjay Bernardo07:42 04/01/23Ordered blue marlin sinigang and it was literally nothing, around 5pcs of overcooked fish meat. Kinilaw na tanigue was very salty with a bad after taste. Definitely a Tourist trap. Lindsay Renaud10:56 01/08/23Best fish we had while on Camiguin. We had 2 types of grilled fish recommended by the waiter and fried vegetables. All were delicious. They needed to rebuild after the 2021, but the dining area is also nice, sitting right on the breezy lagoon. Earl Encabo01:51 09/23/22Good food + good view = great food experience. The food was delicious and the fish that was served was fresh, the kinilaw and tinola was really to my liking. Another superb lunch experience in camiguin, It's a good place to eat after our Mantigue Island Adventure Pamela Pacheco08:29 08/13/22This is a perfect place to relax after visiting other places nearby. I personally love going here because of the atmosphere, food and view. We went last July 2022 and a worker told us that they just opened up recently because the place was greatly affected by the typhoon Odette. Rolf04:46 07/22/22Fresh food, nice atmosphere. The place look exactly the same as for 15 years sense.Always go back here for some snack or dinner when visit Camiguin Bobsmei Bontilao22:37 10/16/19Great seafood and good view of the lagoon. They charge an extra 150 pesos for the tables in the cottages in the lagoon but they have tables near the entrance that are free and just as good. Good experience. Food prices are a bit pricey but worth it.

Sam Ackers10:26 06/09/23Great little restaurant, the portions were very generous and the quality and flavour of the food was incredible. The beef was so tender and the prawns very fresh, it's probably some of the best food we've had in the Philippines! I highly recommend eating here. Ramayana Roxas16:13 04/04/23Food is good, large portions for cheap. A true Camiguingnon's Go-to Jim Gentry11:49 02/26/23Wow! I was really impressed. They have homemade ice cream that is as good as any in America. They also have pizza. Rusty Evolution06:10 02/17/23A popular local restaurant featuring a variety of classic Filipino dishes.Friendly staff, delicious food, good prices. Jerald Dine13:34 12/14/19Amazing food, place and people. Great dining for family and friends 👍. We ordered kaldereta, tinola and pizzas. A must try when you are in Camiguin Island. Fresh ingredients and satisfying. Good food serving especially for family dining. If you can't finish everything and there's still a lot of food, you can request to pack it to bring home. 😊 We've done it just because we were still full from eating halohalo😂 but I really appreciate their delicious food. Stephanie Stephanie04:02 07/08/19This place is just one of the many restaurants in Mambajao, but I think this is one of the best out there. With this place always jam-packed during lunch and dinner, is perhaps enough justification. They have varied menu, to satisfy different cravings. Pizza is first in their menu, and the best I have tried is Camiguin classic, with generous amount of veggies esp. Camiguin green pepper which is really good. They have poultry, pork, beef, goat, seafoods and veggies in their menu. Plus, they have home-made ice cream and for me mango flavour is the best. Serving is good for 2 or more persons and the price is super affordable. The staff are really nice though waiting time could be improved. Highly recommended.

María Cuco12:10 05/25/23We feel disappointed after having dinner at Luna. We had been referred to it by several comments and websites, but we found a simple place with not-so-good food, nothing close to a good Italian restaurant. We did not order pizza, and this may have been a mistake. The "Meat Grill Plate" was not a plate at all, there were just three small pieces. The fetuccini funghi was 90% creme with almost no flavor. The staff was somewhat friendly and we're sure if they strive for it they could make it a much better place that lives up to its prices. At least the tiramisu felt slightly Italian, so our night didn't end up too bad. La 25ème Image10:03 04/23/23Very good Italian restaurant with tasty pizza 👍🏼 Amerikanische Chiropraktiker & Sportmedizin11:54 04/18/23the oil was rancid... and thus the whole pizza taste was ruined. It was real Italian pizza. The staff was very friendly, the garden at night was pleasant and I had a nice chat with Rico the owner who is a very helpful person too. Thanks to his recommendation I ended up staying on a nice beach front accommodation too. 100% Italian flavours and service. Thank you! Marta Atienza14:06 08/29/22Quite good, but I thought portions were a bit bigger. I think they should put more ingredients and quantity. Keith Holdaway02:44 01/14/23Nice food had fries aswell but they turned up after we had eaten everything else but they were home made and really nice worth the wait Skycruiser Travel Channel (Eric)01:55 12/04/22Must order at street level from their menu at a desk. Before proceeding to the seating area upstairs. They do have a extensive menu, however when I was there, many dishes not available. From 8 starters… I ask onion rings. Not available. I ask chicken skin… not available sir… I ask what is actually available? Only fries sir!Ordered fries as starter , but my main course (chicken sisig) came first. Followed by the fries.Drinks available? Only water, sprite and beer (per liter). Nothing else. The seating area upstairs is not watched by staff, so it’s unable to request for service …. Guest need to walk downstairs first to see a waitress .Never again. This place better shuts down.Must admit: quality of food was very acceptable. Tasty and good portions 👌🏼 Jakup Abedin01:14 11/02/22I came here with a few of my wife's friends. Wait time for food was about 40 minutes. We ordered fried chicken/Popcorn shrimp/cheese Pizza and hawaiian pizza. Service isnt the friendliest. I asked for Wi-Fi and they replied "Sorry we don't have free Wi-Fi". Get ready to sweat since most of it is outdoor seated. I chased down time and heat with some cold drinks while waiting for food. This place does pizza super duper thin crust. You either like it or hate it. I would probably put this a notch right above Frozen pizza-Little Ceasars. All in all, I would return because of the mangrove forest type of restaurant atmosphere and cheap pizza. Their pizza is definitely better with hot sauce for sure.P.S. I liked it so I ordered some more on delivery the very next day. Philipp Mechelk10:18 07/15/19Very nice place for dinner. Affordable prices and good taste. We went there two times and the best dishes were every time the gyoza‘s (Japanese dumplings) as a starter. Kimi Blanco16:59 05/13/17Carbonara was really good! Better than their downtown branch.Service could be warmer.Pizza was okay when hotView would probably be great when it's earlier. We came at night so it was dark already. Ambiance was good.

Real Customer Reviews at Viola's Snack Bar:
jansen ray penalosa03:54 08/04/23The food was delicious try the baked Siopao and halo-halo The service was great fast. When we get there is an ongoing blackout all over the place but good thing they have generator Yannick22:42 06/22/23One of Mambajao's oldest running snack bars. However Voila chose to discriminate customers based on their medical history. Unfortunately we were not allowed inside.Thankfully theres a good halo² alternative infront of new BPO bank, called Stairways. samson JACKS11:38 04/08/23Halo halo was not only pretty but delicious. The place was packed with locals; we walked in and the room went quiet as if to say, what are these white boys doing here and how did they find the best halo halo on the island! Needless to say, we got hungry after smelling all the other dishes and decided to sneak in a beef bun. Pretty decent and fresh although a little sweet for our liking (similar to a Cantonese pork bun in taste). Hot tip, swap out the sugar for pepper and this thing would fly off the shelves where we come from. Zoetic Zel00:39 03/17/23I have only tried their halo-halo and it's really good. I am a picky eater and I set aside weird stuff but for this halo-halo, I have consumed everything. (March 2023) Jakup Abedin13:15 11/01/22I've had tons of Halo Halo and this is by far my favorite. I don't have to deal with weird beans, old buku, other weird substitutes. This place is definitely a gem of Camiguin and especially for a hot day. You can pass on the sandwiches. If plasticy look doesn't throw you off -the taste will. Karl Gamolo08:01 08/14/22I love this place because it has a lot of options but aside from their Halo-halo, I specifically love their Palabok and it is affordable. The place is spacious, clean, and relaxing. I will definitely come back again. Pablo Mouriz00:24 02/04/20Good place to eat something or try the weird halo-halo (typical philipines dessert). We also try the pancit and is very tasty and well coocked. Prices are local so it is a cheap option. Cez Prieto16:20 07/24/19I'd love to come back and try their food menu like pancit canton or palabok. We only had halo-halo and french fries. Regular sized halo-halo is P75, large halo-halo is for P100. Their halo-halo taste good with the shaved ice, ice cream and other usual toppings at the bottom. I was also impressed with their french fries because it is really made from potatoes with its skin and all. Take a motorella here for P10 and tell the driver to drop you here.

marv echipare03:46 08/07/23Nice place and like most restaurants in Camiguin serving takes long because they cook everything from scratch. Their paella is just okay, not as good as we were expecting. Dishes are generally mid priced for its serving size. Quesadilla is good as well as croquetas, and the Spanish lumpia and salad was also good. Best order would be the churros, bite sized crispy and a bit gooey inside. That's probably what we will come back for here. Wifi is also strong and free. Ronza Arraf10:45 01/13/23Food was good 4/5, also the service.Loved the salad and the mongo soup, mango shake. The brown dog is very friendly and welcoming Byron Warwick07:57 09/25/22Excellent Spanish menu in the heart of Camiguin. Very comfortable dining experience. Farrah Garcia08:06 05/09/22Food was good. I especially liked the churros and croquetas Angel Perez06:45 12/11/19Great place and food. Real Customer Reviews at Daos Beach Bistro - Plant Based Restaurant:
marv echipare03:24 08/07/23Really close to the airport and a good find fr vegans and vegetarians visiting the island. We ordered almost everything ok the menu because we got so excited with all the vegan options. Try their adlai bowls, their sisig, and burger and chips. Dessert was also good but just know that their ice cream is a bit tarty sour for some but for me it's all good. They provide room accommodations as well and are very accessible to the beach. A gem in Camiguin! There is also parking for cars and scooters! Dr. Edelita Jamis01:20 07/08/23An acquaintance told me about this place when she knew I was a plant-based doctor. I was so happy to hear that Camiguin has a 100% plant-based restaurant, especially since it was in time for our planned short family vacation. So I brought my family and invited friends for dinner at Daos. Potpot and his staff made us feel so welcome. Everything on the menu is mouth-watering. We tried all the plate specials, and they were all great! Everyone enjoyed the chichasroom and sizzling sisig too. It's not on their menu, but I asked if they serve fresh fruit shakes. Potpot quickly offered to make us some mango and guyabano shake. Both taste good and healthy, knowing that it's dairy-free and all-natural. My relatives were amazed at how everything looked and tasted like the typical Filipino dish (even though there were no meat and animal products). Thank you very much for providing healthy eating options in Camiguin.I look forward to revisiting your place.Tip: Take a calm and relaxing walk along the beach (low tide with sunset) while waiting for your healthy dinner. María Cuco10:55 05/24/23We came here following the great reviews in Google; they were completely right!!The service is very attentive, if you want, the owner explains you all the dishes. The food is 100% plant-based. Despite we aren't veggan, we really enjoyed it.The ambiance is charming because the owners have decorated with a great taste. We would definitely recommend and also come back. Thomas J10:29 05/20/23The restaurant is part of the Haruhay resort. I was so happy to find a vegan restaurant and the quality is great for an affordable price as the portions are quite big and good for sharing. They put so much effort ton the menu and don't use any processed ingredients. Most of the stuff comes from their backyard and it looks really nice too.The food is so delicious that we even met people that usually eat meat but come here regularly because of the quality of food. Malo13:05 05/04/23This is an amazing place. The food is excellent, they are generous with it, and it's all plant-based (which is pretty rare in this country). The people - like in all Philippines - are super nice and the place have a nice vibe. Frankly, vegan vegetarian or not, it doesn't matter, just go eat there ! Celine and Dennis Murillo04:39 03/13/23Daos is the restaurant component of Haruhay Eco Beach Tavern, a beach side environmentally conscious accommodation. Daos serves the best (and the only 100%) vegan dishes in the whole of Camiguin Island. It’s my husband’s and I go-to date place when we were in the island for four months. We’ve had the pleasure of trying every dish (even the specials) and I’m so proud to say everything is soooo good! However, if you want to have a taste of Filipino cuisine, a definite must-try are the veganized versions of Dinuguan, Kare-kare, and Surol! My personal favorite is Surol along with Timpoong Vurger (with a banana blossoms patty). You should also try (or request?) the turon (fried banana lumpia) for dessert or merienda. I fancy myself as a turon connoisseur, and Daos has the best turon I’ve had so far!The compound is also pet-friendly. Plus, the people there are so welcoming, warm, and lovely! Aaand, the beach is right in front of you. A lovely way to dine. Kayla Henderson08:58 03/07/23Such an amazing experience! As a vegetarian, this is one of the best restaurants I ate at my whole month long trip! I can’t say enough great things. The food is amazing, creative and very well explained by the enthusiastic staff. The staff was amazing and pleasant. The restaurant is also beach front & offers amazing views while eating. Definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone! Iris Schwitter06:13 02/06/23This place is so so amazing. We had for real one of the best vegan meals ever. So creative, healthy, colourful and tasty. The ambiance of the restaurant was peacefull & chill. The owner and his love staff made it a 10/10. He took the time to explain all the dishes and he told us about all the amazing things he does for the enviroment and for the locals. He is just the kindest!!! Definetly add this place to your list. It is a little hard to find but with google maps you get there! Thank you so much ♥️🌿🫶 Jan K11:27 01/04/23Very tasty veganised local food! Luckily we found this place so we could also experience the Filipino flavors as vegetarians. The owner and the whole team are very friendly and everything is cooked with passion and with high quality ingredients. I even added this place to google so that more people will hopefully discover this place! Highly recommended!
