Love this place! My go-to for Japanese groceries. I love browsing the shelves and just seeing what’s new. They have sashimi-grade tuna and prepared hot food to-go. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

New Hatchin Japanese Grocery, and over the years they built their identity importing well-known products from the rising sun. There are other groceries out there that cater to their respective expats now living in the Philippines, but New Hatchin has been consistent even in the challenging times. Not only they bring Japanese brands to locals, but also have their famous rice bowls and meals under their Uma Delica brand.Back when they have limited choices and a few snacks like Takoyaki, they have now a plethora of choices and all you need is explore their store and find out.The prices varies and every meal or rice bowl is worth the experience.Highly Recommended.

Great place to get some japanese grocery items. Price is a little higher, but atleast you would have more options.

Seikyo has a pretty decent selection of Japanese goods. Though I wish they had more labels with English like where is the soy sauce, mirin, cooking sake, tsuyu and the rest. Also I hope they store their saba (mackerel) properly in the freezer so its not bent or deformed when buying it.They also have a lot of condiments and pickles for sale too which is a bonus. I hope they would stock on ikura and tobiko in the future.

Have been there since year 2019. We tried buying some snacks here, and all taste good! They are selling Japanese foods, Beauty products and kitchenware. Most of the items are on sale and discounted prices. It is the nearest store from our office. Thanks for the great buying experience!

SherryG14:03 03/26/21
So far, the only japanese store with lots of stuff to offer compared with others. There are still a few products that I can't seem to find, few fridges and stacks are empty. They don't have bottled teas like those Kirin green teas 1.5ml. They have those tea bags.. Not much coffee as well. Only georgia and UCC coffee and those powdered coffees. But I like that they have puddings and lots of canned sardines.. Lots of chocolates as well plus noodles! Muy bien!

O K07:49 03/07/21
There are many Japanese foods. One of the best Japanese grocery store in Manila.

Randy Yu16:29 10/24/20
not exactly the cheapest Japanese grocery anymore... although the cup noodle variety is still the most complete, and prices of these are still cheaper than most supermarkets, esp if they have buy1take1 promos (near expiry). hope they allow e-wallet payment basis and credit card.

Tiny store with few goods to offer, but only here I found the darjeeling tea- the best!

Glenn Gregorio06:55 03/10/20
Not a very big store but has the essential Japanese ingredients. Try their wagyu cubes too!

Takato Ty01:22 03/08/20
It's a typical japanese grocery store. Nothing special. And they largely sell food products. So if you want a wider variety of products go to "Hatchin".

Rowoon Kim01:31 07/23/18
My dad actually buys me some macha or green tea powder here. Its really good. But first time coming there really good staff. But at that time when we were asking for some products, she does not give clear answers, like she's not sure what product it is and what it contains. But overall I liked the store. Thanks~

Bob Slydell19:14 09/27/17
Staff is super friendly and helpful, best part of this place. Prices have gone up and selection is often poor, especially when compared to other Japanese grocers in the area.

There is not a variety of products. It is slightly more expensive than Kaltima Market Japanese food store. However, it is the only Japanese grocery store in Malate where you can buy basic Japanese goods. The staff are friendly. Korean gimbap is more delicious because of Japanese pickled radish. The noodles are soft too.

Marianne Caluen04:32 10/07/21

May “Ziel” N05:32 03/21/23
Great place to find cool items for the house and for home organization with a Japanese touch. This is like the Asian version of a Dollar Tree store where things are cheap at $1, here it's everything mostly 88 or 66 pesos, plus or minus depending on the size or style. It has a Facebook community too. Payments in Gcash, credit/debit, and cash. The store occasionally has seasonal and unique items like venetian blinds of the small size (standard 75cm width) for only 188 pesos each and the larger version worth 388 pesos. I bought the blinds and it was easy for me to install. There was a time I found some cloth cabinet, that was cheap and useful.Sometimes I find lovely vases and a Sakura ceramic teapot. Some items are common with other similar stores, but this place has common school supplies, fancy jewelry accessories and batteries too!Other items are for gardening, beauty, and life. They have tumblers and slippers. They had acrylic organizers, perfect for dresser or pens. If it something practical for the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom, it's usually here.If you want to organize things at home, coming here to find simple solutions make things fun and worth it.

Patrick Trinidad13:57 09/03/22
Plates. Cups. Glasses. Forks. Spoons. Teacups. Tea pots. Coffee pots. Strainers. Fruit juice. Cookies. Snacks. Soap dish. Body wash. Shampoos. Hello Kitty trinkets. Mobile phone accessories. Dish racks. Shower racks. Big plastic containers. Small plastic containers. Cooking utensils. Ladles. Trays. Beauty products. Cords. Candy. Chocolates.Whew! What else would you ask for? If Japan Home Centre does not have it then probably it does not exist!

B&E Customs10:25 05/12/22
I love the Japan shops but seems to me prices are higher here. Everything is made in China so what's the deal with higher prices. The store is clean with well displayed items. Butt bottom line always is the prices

Best one stop japanese grocery in chino roces, little tokyo, makati - unique entrance very welcoming to its green entrance and yellow inside store, Yellow means happy and they’re very happy serving especially my favorite umaibo.

Angela CDG16:32 07/12/23
Our go-to Japanese store for years now, though they've recently changed owners/managements during the pandemic.Their inventory keeps getting better -- lots of options for instant and fresh noodles & ramen, snacks (biscuits, chocolates and candies), desserts, teas, meats, sauces, toiletries, skincare, face masks, AND MORE at REASONABLE PRICES.They sell ICHIRAN Noodles in boxes for Php1299.They have BIORE moisturizing sunscreen facial lotion / creams. They have TSUBAKI hair products priced the lowest we've seen so far among Japanese stores, especially when compared to Mitsukoshi supermarket.Their drinks and ice cream plus other desserts like mochi and gelatin with fresh fruits are diverse and yum!Their staff aren't consistently the friendliest but helpful enough and would say "hello" to our L.O.

Don06:21 05/15/23
Like it, lots of Japanese brands here with affordable prices. Store is located in very convenient Makati area. Near by there is lots of Japanese restaurants and groceries. Cash and GCash only, hopefully soon they accept cards too

Shereen05:09 05/08/22
Shop is hot and stuffy. The staff were unfriendly too. Not all items have price tag.

Great stock of Japanese grocery items and a unique selection of Japanese ice cream as well.

A Japanese grocery for people who are interested in cooking for personal or business purposes. The place observes strict quarantine policies such as contact tracing and social distancing.Outside is a line for customers who needs to wait while other customers are being attended to inside the store. I highly suggest coming early to minimize risk and to get a faster transaction.

We bought japanese groceries worth 4,000 plus , but they never issue receipt, which I thought they placed it n my Grocery bag after I purchased , but upon checking theRe was no receipt issued . Ive been trying to call their landline store to inform them about the receipt which they didn’t give . but no one answers .

cute nacat05:40 01/08/20
My daughter is crazy about this place. She always buy her fave japanese snacks and drinks. But you have to park on the street because they don’t have available parking.

Bryan Ong05:43 07/30/19
One of the better local Japanese Groceries with good prices and pretty good selection of items. The store doesn't seem like it was renovated ever - really beat up interior and the shop always seem to have a smell which is slightly unpleasant...you stop noticing it once you see the grocery items in the shop.As mentioned by other reviewers, the staff here are always helpful. If you're looking for a specific Japanese grocery item, ask the staff to find out if they ever had it in the shop or if it's just out of stock. Keep in mind that the shop only accepts cash payments so prepare accordingly.

Carla Nithasia Espejo13:51 11/01/17
They offer a variety of Japanese goods at a very affordable price. I personally love going to Seikyo buying Natto (Japanese fermented Soy Beans) every Tuesday.

The perfume section is awesome. Smells superb and affordable. Try their scents 😚

SherryG14:35 06/25/21
One of my fave stores! Well, some products are made in China but some are also made in Japan. However, those made in China are licensed under Daiso Japan, so I guess the product is still good. For Japan made products, you just read and have to take a look in the product details. Japan quality will be always the best👍
