Best place in Rome for pastry and cappuccino. Came here for my first breakfast in Rome and had the pistachio croissant. Highly recommend it. Had breakfast elsewhere the second day and it was awful in comparison. So I went out of my way to return two more times for breakfast. The cappuccino was the best I had in Rome. The foam was amazing. Highly recommend this place!

A charming tiny place, perfect for a quick breakfast. We tried pistacchio croissants - outstanding, as well as coffee - first class espresso and cappuccino. Prices were average. Friendly staff. Just go there and see yourself:)

This place is my favourite go to eat place 🤤 everything here is soo delicious! They have the best coffee I've tried in Rome. Salty and sweet croissants are amazing. The pistachio one is a bomb! We also tried panini, red velvet muffin was also amazing! We spent 4 days in Rome and everyday we went for a breakfast to this place. It's a obsession!

super tasty small cafe in rome with friendly accommodating staff. staff noticed we looked a bit confused and offered to sit us down with menus. when taking our order, the waiter could tell i was a bit confused and let me go to the counter and point out the items i wanted. and our food and coffee came super quick too. and also super cheap and delicious

Robert Fagaras07:53 06/14/23
Been here two days in a row for breakfast. Arrived around 9:30 and was fully occupied in both days, yet we managed to get a table in less than 5 minutes, which was great. Atmosphere is nice and cosy. We had toast and panini which were fresh, warm and delicious, croissants with vanilla, chocolate and pistachio as well as a strudel, all fresh and tasty and Cappuccino with soy milk also had a nice creamy texture. Service was excellent, got the food we ordered in no time although the place was crowded. Great place, easy 5 stars, will definitely come back.

My wife and I roast our own at home in Texas. It is important to us to seek high quality coffee when we travel. We found it here at TreCaffe. They use locally roasted beans. The staff is amazing. The pastries and sandwiches are fresh and delicious.

A must try for anyone in Rome (wherever you are staying). This is genuinely the best brunch place I’ve ever tried.Be warned, you will need to wait a very long time if you are going at peak times. I had to wait an hour at one point but was genuinely worth it. We came here on two separate back to back days because it was that good (we tried a third on our last day but they had a power cut so they were shut!)The waiter we had was accommodating and knew about halal choices (we just went for the safe veggie option) but I’m glad he was aware of this given most places are a bit oblivious at times. The pancakes and the filled croissant are a MUST try for anyone with a sweet tooth. The banana bread was also out of this world. The coffee here has been rated as the best in Rome by my travel partner (and he has a lot of coffee). Overall, an excellent choice for anyone looking for some good food in Rome!!

Avi Hertzl17:14 07/13/23
Excellent cafe and restaurant. We came here after seeing all of the great reviews and were not disappointed. There was a bit of a wait - about 20 minutes - outside and it was pretty hot but it was well worth it. Had an excellent bagel and lox sandwich with avocado and cream cheese. Pancakes were delicious with a variety of fresh fruit (berries and pineapple) and the coffee was delicious. Server was friendly, prompt, efficient and knowledgeable (about the different coffees). Overall, our favourite breakfast/brunch place in Rome

Michael Smith07:05 07/08/23
Best breakfast I’ve had in Italy! Reasonably priced too. Our server, Dario, was friendly, helpful and spoke really good English and made some menu suggestions.I had the scrambled eggs with hash brown, bacon, sausage. The eggs were organic and the hash brown tasted “home made”.Fast service.Quite busy when we left with a line up outside at 9am, although it was peak tourist season. We got a table without waiting or reservation at 8:30am. Highly recommended, but go early to avoid a wait. Thanks Dario!

Hanako10:06 06/27/23
5 stars all around!! The food was incredible with several vegan options and mostly vegetarian. Perfect brunch place especially for Americans who miss the taste of home. Our server spoke fluent Italian, English, and Spanish! She was so sweet and chatted with us New Yorkers about her dream to visit the MoMa :)We waited in line for about 30min since we came at 10:30am, but it was absolutely worth the wait. Luckily the food came very rapidly considering how crowded it was. The restaurant was certainly well run. We were seated outside and had a wonderful time! The pictures below include everything that we ordered excluding drinks. This was enough for 4 (hungry) people.

Alexis22:47 04/19/23
Came at around 10:30am on a Tuesday with no reservation and we were second in line. About an hour after, the line was much longer. So if you can, reserve! The staff were very friendly and attentive though during the entire wait.If your looking for the more American brunch experience, this is it. Food is generous in servings, reasonably priced, and they have specialty coffee with alternative milk options. Get the hummus and avocado toast, along with the bagels!

We had a great breakfast here. The coffee was exactly like I usually drink in Australia and croissant melted in my mouth. My son was really exited eating funny cheese cut like spaghetti. Special thanks to waitress Valentina for politeness and serving us like the royal family.

Bella Bella13:44 07/22/23
Quirky cafe inside. Only stopped by for drinks, so can’t really judge the food. Did not have any juices at the time. Settled for iced coffee.

Asnaldo Wong11:09 07/15/23
Great food, great presentation, very nice people. Helped us tourists order exactly what we wanted. I couldn’t have had a better experience. Food cooked to perfection. Gave us extra table space as well. On a scale from 1-10 i give them an 11!

Mark Clayton14:06 06/26/23
Baylon Cafe has earned its place as a dependable option for me. The selections of Italian and American breakfast, lunch, and dinner are well prepared, tasty, and reasonably priced. Service is friendly and attentive. In the evening tables on the street can be noisy, but there may be live music inside. Beers, wines, and mixed drinks are all good options.

Too hot! Felt like I was burning inside. Food is a bit overpriced. Ordered a smoothie but somehow was not cold enough. If you go, sit outside and you will have a more enjoyable experience.

Sofi Amaya11:18 07/22/23
I like that they have variety in their food!! I had breakfast and it was really good!! If you want something else besides pasta and pizza this is for you!! The only thing is that is too hot inside and sometimes they don’y take the order pretty quick but the rest was excellent! Thank you very much!! Probably I will come back! 🙂

Claud16:02 04/18/23
The place is very cute and the decor very intriguing. However, very overpriced for the quality and portion size - one potato (in the pic) costs 7€. My pancakes were nice but the bacon looked like it was cooked on a dirty grill and not fully. Lastly, cappuccino was nice but the foam poorly done, too bubbly and thin rather than firm and thick.

Florian Malkes12:14 04/11/23
Way too pricey for what is being put on the plate. Yes, the atmosphere is very cool and pretty. The waiters are very nice and polite. It's also one of the few places that serve proper breakfast in Italy. But the prices are exorbitant. You wouldn't find another place in Rome where you would pay 8 euros for ham & cheese croissant or a bowl of oatmeal. Also they charge for water and ask for tips on the receipt, which is also something that I've never seen in Italy elsewhere.Instead of charging such high prices, they should increase their utilization: they sent so many customers back because they are fully booked. But during our visit there at least three tables stayed empty, waiting for the guests who reserved. Why wouldn't they spare half of the tables for walk-in customers? So much space wasted due to reservations is deadly for business efficiency.

Onur Şentürk08:58 09/08/22
One of the few brunch/breakfast spots in Rome. The place is always fully booked, so better make a reservation before coming in.There are a lot of options for food. (I mean a looooot)They are alright in taste but I can say Barnum would be my first preference. The staff are very friendly too 🙏

Food was great. Best brunch i had in Rome so far. The “breakfast menu” and the pancakes (very soft and fruits were fresh) were the best. Staff was friendly and nice. It was a bit crowded.

Sahar Daryan08:49 07/08/23
When I found this Café, I got really excited as I saw some vegan options on the menu, it is really hard to find something vegan in Rome. We went there everyday for 5 days for breakfast (vegan breakfast, avocado breakfast, vegan croissant) and sometimes for a salad or afternoon coffee. But the staff never even smiled or showed a slight appreciation for a returning customer. The food is good, inside is very loud and warm, no aircon. Tables are very close to each other that you usually get some elbows when the person on the next table is eating.

Sarah Emmanuella22:47 06/10/23
This place was recommended by my friends. So i came intentionally to try the brunch. This place is located in Cavour area and super crowded especially in the morning until 1pm. No wonder since they serve breakfast, brunch, & lunch. We were lucky that we got a place. The food overall was good 😊, but what makes it distinct was even tho it was super crowded, the server are smileys 😄.. which is GOOD to see (bcz in other bars/ coffee shop they looked annoyed with the tourist 😅).In my case all was fine & okay, but please be patient & make sure that the server really put your order into the system (as you can expect from such a busy place).

Val -20:39 05/31/23
This place felt like an authentic Italian cafe experience! A busy and popular place for locals and tourists alike, people having espressos and croissants standing at the counter, the sounds of the baristas making coffee, the charming waiters and waitresses, great atmosphere. They also serve other breakfast options like scrambled eggs, omelette, avocado toast etc. to sit down. Although it was busy, I got a table right away, service was quick and the food was good. I had the vegetarian breakfast (omelette).

Franciska Szucs06:44 04/12/22
Very simple breakfast for a high price. The fruit salad is also pretty boring, it was 70 precent of pineapple. Omelette was fine. The pancakes somewhat better. The fake green apple juice was gross. It’s just difficult to find proper breakfast places in Rome so this place is busy. The quality and price ratio is not the best.

This breakfast restaurant is by far one of the BEST you will find in Rome! The owner is super sweet and so polite! the rest of the staff are also super nice. They communicate well and make you feel welcomed unlike my other dining experiences in Rome. I highly recommend Homebaked for a great hearty breakfast!

Gotta hand it to these guys! They’re working the Google and Trip Advisor algorithm like masters! Half the American tourists in Rome showed up for breakfast in this place. LOL. Food was pretty good. Price was decent. Service was good. A little out of the way if you’re staying in Trastevere, not worth the hike up the hill if you’re that far away (like we were). But if you’re in the area it’s a good option. Breakfast wrap was good. So were the pancakes.

Garrett Siau21:13 03/16/23
Cute little breakfast restaurant. Stopped in for brunch and got the breakfast wrap. Taste was great, came out fast and the staff was very friendly. Definitely recommend anyone stop here for breakfast.

Mircea Stinga10:21 10/08/22
Lovely American place away from the crowds. A rich breakfast for 2 will set you back around 25 EUR, which is excellent value. The service is quick and attentive.I would definitely recommend this place.

Indi10:57 09/06/19
The food was wonderful and the place was so cute. They have so many great options for food that I had a hard time deciding! I got the buffalo chicken wrap and my husband got the chicken wrap along with two Iced lattes. All of it was great. The owner (I think) was so friendly and nice. He made some hilarious jokes and was very welcoming. Overall it felt like having breakfast at home but better!

This was the best coffee we had in all of Europe! I'm very picky about my pastries and coffee, and this place surpassed even my high expectations! My daughter was so impressed with the coffee, she made art to put in the window, including a rave review! We made sure to come back every day we were in Rome!

Great, cozy place to grab breakfast and coffee, croissants are very tasty and the shop owners are very polite. Prices are very affordable, highly recommend if you are in the area.

Really great cappuccino specialty store! There’s not just the classic cappuccino, but also those savoury and sweet ones like chocolate, Nutella, kinder etc.☕️ we tried the Classico and Cioccolato, which were both flavourful in their own ways - foamy and rich in their individual flavours! At 5 Euros for 2 cuppa and a croissant, it is definitely affordable and good reason why it is so popular!

Went here to have sth different than pizza and pasta. Friendly staff. Felt like a healthier option. My cereal bowl didn’t have enough toppings (in regards to the yoghurt-toppings ratio). They also had vegan sweets (such as cookies and cakes)

If you fancy a vegetarian/vegan breakfast/meal while in Rome then I highly recommend this restaurant. We were in Rome last December and tried several vegetarian/vegan restaurants - the only one that met our expectations was Fratelli de Luca. The only negative for me personally was that my sandwich was a bit on the small side. Otherwise GREAT!
