I have been eating here with my friends since college and even when I started working and it has always been my go to food. Their best seller is Honey glazed chicken. The chicken is really tasty and big for the price. I got more than what I paid for and I will always come back.

Small place and street parking is limited. But what they lack they make up on the quality of the food they serve. Generous portions and tasty breakfast dishes

Cyrus R Olivenza04:00 12/30/21
Delicious and nicely plated food. Honey lemon chicken is crispy outside and moist inside. Scrambled egg is cooked and seasoned just right, not too salty. Nice place. Maybe they can improve the exhaust because I can smell the smoke and oil from their kitchen.

Kanto Freestyle Breakfast is a great casual place when you're craving for breakfast ANYTIME of the day. The staff are very kind, accommodating, professional, they even made me feel safe observing health protocols, letting me safely park my bike where it can be easily seen. The service is fast and excellent. I also love that the price is budget-friendly.👍🏼Most especially, the food is just DIVINE!!!👌🏼 The kapeng barako is perfect! 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼I will definitely come back, even make regular visits if I want to spoil myself with gourmet breakfast.🥞🍳🧇☕

We tried Dad's Choice (Smoked bangus/eggs and rice) and Pasta (Cheesy Prawn and Cacio e Pepe). Dad's Choice and cheesy prawn pasta were decent and served generously. However, the cacio e pepe didn't live up to expectations in terms of taste and quality for a supposedly simple dish. The coffee was good but a bit pricey and not served hot. Nevertheless, the ambiance was lovely and homey, making it a great spot for hanging out with friends. Just be aware that they have limited parking with only two slots available if you're arriving by car.

Joana Tan12:02 07/22/23
I cannot believe they have such a diverse menu! The food is good! Hope to try their coffee soon since my mocha didnt arrive. No parking so had to find along the street and glad the restaurant guard was gonna look out for it.

Great food, drinks, ambiance and music.Service was nice, but can be a bit more attentive and looking around to see if guests need their attention. Still 5 stars. 🙂

Pleasantly surprised by this House Favorite rice bowl (₱285) at The Giving Cafe. It’s delicious and lives up to its name 🤤It’s chicken shawarma rice, sumac onions and a sunny side up egg yummm!Their menu is so thick and they have soooo many options so def a resto to revisit.

Visited TGC on a Saturday for brunch. Ambiance is decent, nothing peculiar but I do remember pointing out the ceiling made of woven rope - that was a nice touch. We ordered rice bowls - Beef Rendang and Chicken Shawarma which we thought tasted great. They also didn’t skimp on the serving size, as they should considering the price, we actually ended up taking home our leftovers. Coffee was good.

Me and my sister most of the time during weekends we eat out. And we are a regular customer of Pancake House Greenfield branch since we live nearby. We noticed that the store is undermanned, they only have 1 server. Usually we eat during breakfast. There were always lots of customers there, so most of the time orders were not serve on time, but we love the food kaya bumabalik kami. Today Sept 10, its our usual schedule to eat breakfast there. When we arrived maraming customers but sa portion sa may private room is open. We are standing infront of the counter for about 20 seconds looking around and waiting na may mag approached sa amin, but the guy at the cashier just told us "wala na pong available na table" ni hindi man lang sila nag good morning at hindi kami titanong if dine in or take out ba? I am very disappointed!

This tiny store is located along United street in a busy Greenfield District in Mandaluyong City. They are well know for, you guessed it, pancakes! But I usually go here for their special. Their set meal is composed of chicken, spaghetti, taco (so good), garlic bread and iced tea. The pricing is on a little expensive side but I believe it's worth it.

Been trying egg drop joints in Metro Manila and so far, I got the fastest response from Block6 Cafe in social networking sites. Went here to have brunch and I was expecting that it will take longer to serve since I didn't order in advance, but surprisingly serving time is fast.Their Egg Drop is good and it's big as well, so no bitin feeling, plus they offer coffee and other drinks. I just hope they can serve hot coffee in the future. (For people like me who likes hot coffee at any time of the day.)The staff and owner (i just assumed, lol) are friendly and accommodating. The interior needs some improvement but nevertheless, it's the food and experience that counts.

Good food but slow serving, many choices of food and drinks but small tables outside. Reservation available but tambay is not allowed. Attentive staff inside the establishment pero pag sa labas rarely

Most dishes are good, like sinampalukang manok. Service is not so nice, minsan pabalang sumagot, I really hate that kind of attitude. Their cucumber lemonade is toooooo sweeeeeet I felt sick, I'm serious. And their "Fruit Salad" has no fruit at all. Maybe some pineapple, then it's all kaong and nata de coco, cheese, cream. I was so disappointed. Other dishes are just okay. I will only dine here again if I don't have a choice.

Daena Erin Esperanza01:23 02/02/18
3.5 stars actually. Love the pancakes here and the lemongrass tea and I love the pricing. It just takes forever to get your food hahahahaah :)) so I usually just go when I have a lot of time to spare or when I bring a book to read.

Katrina Ignacio10:43 06/21/23
We visited after lunch on a weekday. By then the crowd passing through behind our table was relatively thin-a good thing because we were situated along the corridor. It also meant that the wait staff were more relaxed and attentive. Service was quick, too. I had iced coffee which was served separately from the vanilla cream and the simple syrup. I only poured a very small amount of the cream, no sweetener added so that it would not overpower the delicious toasted cheese roll. I must say that it was a surprisingly wonderful pairing on a humid afternoon. Both were gone before I knew it. Sigh.

Lorenzo Reyes07:15 06/11/23
Underwhelming at most. Nothing remotely impressive with the food quality. Sirloin for beef tapa was chewy and a bit too sweet. Service took long. We asked for salt and pepper several times and it came halfway through our meal. The ketchup took longer. The staff were very nice and accommodating but we still left the place regretting we ate there. Over-priced too!

Beverly Tan02:39 05/28/23
The best ensaymada I've ever had. Didnt expect thier serving is big and it should be for two for the likes of me. Giving a 3 star to service because of a side comment the staff gave after giving them a compliment. It was awkward.

We are a family of 10 including 2 seniors, yet the accommodation of seats were quick and no hassle. The staff were attentive despite the busy lunch rush. They were also amiable and checked in on us if the food was good and up to our expectation. They are also placed in a location that isn’t as crowded as other branches.Highly recommended for big groups! It was really a pleasant experience.

Jef Pre04:57 07/20/23
Its my 1st to eat in manam podium and as always the food is great with different approach or twist. The service is topnotch during the busiest hours. And the place is clean and very acceptable considering a crowded place, you can still feel comfy.

Cham ZJ21:20 06/13/23
Good experience. Waiting time was not too long (ate there during Sunday lunch time). Food was served fast.We ordered beef sinigang, bicol express, pancit with sisig toppings, patis chicken wings, turon with ice cream, and leche flan. The leche flan never arrived. The pancit was a bit salty for us.

Michael Griffin06:36 06/08/23
We chose this restaurant because it seemed to be a nice, casual place to enjoy lunch, however our experience didn't reflect that expectation. We dined here on 6/7/23.The unsavory experience started immediately once we made contact with the hostess. She was very dry and seemed to not be engaged in her job. Once we were seated, we were given only one menu.Service: The restaurant wasn't busy as there were only 3 other tables occupied besides ours. The guy next to us was having issues getting the attention of staff so he can bill out. Same for us as we tried to place our order. The server didn't deliver the pitcher of water, nor did he bring our food out together. One half of the order was brought to our table, about 8 minutes later the remaining food was delivered. Finally our drinks were brought to us. By the time we finished our meal, the restaurant began to fill up with employees going on their lunch break. We had to speak with 3 different restaurant employees to get billed out and that experience in itself took about 15 minutes. Service was not organized, fast, or friendly. It appeared to us that some of the staff were not properly trained or were engaged in their position. I do not recommend this restaurant solely based on the service experience. Way too slow and disorganized.Food: We ordered 2 lattes, super arroz caldo, and the corned beef sisig. The lattes tasted like bland hot water. They were not an actual latte. Undrinkable. The chicken in the caldo had a bad taste to it, almost like it's been cooked days ago. Other than the taste of the chicken, the rest of the dish was fine. The only complaint on the sisig is the fried egg on top was very rubbery. Other than that, it was delicious.

Justin Eusebio10:51 06/04/23
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Manam, a Filipino restaurant known for its delectable cuisine. The food they served us was undoubtedly delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience. However, there were a couple of aspects that left room for improvement.Let's start with the positives—the Filipino dishes at Manam were absolutely delightful. From the first bite to the last, every dish was bursting with authentic flavors that truly showcased the rich culinary heritage of the Philippines. The menu offered a wide variety of options, ranging from traditional favorites to modern interpretations, allowing guests to explore and savor the diverse tastes of Filipino cuisine. However, despite the excellent food, there were a couple of areas that left me slightly disappointed. Firstly, the service fell short when it came to the billing process. It took an unusually long time for our bill to arrive, which resulted in an unnecessary delay and a slight dent in an otherwise enjoyable dining experience. While this may have been an isolated incident, it would be advisable for Manam to address this issue and ensure a more efficient and prompt billing process for their patrons.Another minor issue that affected the overall ambiance was the presence of flies flying around the dining area. It was a bit distracting and took away from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. While I understand that controlling pests can be challenging in any establishment, it would be beneficial for Manam to implement additional measures to minimize the presence of flies, such as regular cleaning and strategic placement of insect traps or screens.Despite these minor complaints, I would still highly recommend Manam to anyone seeking an authentic and flavorful Filipino dining experience. The delicious food and diverse menu options truly showcase the culinary delights of the Philippines. With a bit of attention to the billing process and further efforts to address the issue of flies, Manam has the potential to elevate its already excellent dining experience to new heights.Overall, Manam provides a delightful culinary journey through the flavors of the Philippines, and I look forward to returning to indulge in their delectable offerings once again.

David Fu14:14 04/21/23
Wide choice of selections here, especially the chicken Inasal skewers...crowded during lunch with queue thus its good to be early.Although I like their selection of drinks especially the mango smoothies but it can somewhat sweet.

Mats John Carlo Mateo23:16 01/27/23
Manam Cafe has a nice atmosphere, although I find there tables to be a bit too narrow and cramped. The food is good, and some dishes are quite unique Filipino selection, mostly Pampanga selection. Price a bit on a high side but worthy.

Belle Chavez18:06 01/14/23
The interior of the restaurant is very pleasing. I love the french mirror and loft style design. It was already lunch time when we get there and the line was a bit long however, when we are seated, our food were served within 15 minutes. Their staff were all very attentive and efficient. The food was also great. My favorite is crunch salt and pepper squid. They offer Filpino food with a twist which is nice.

angel I10:39 11/02/22
Helpful friendly staff. clean, unisex restroom.Their menu with a twist is surprisingly okay. I was expecting the beef sinigang in watermelon to be sweet but it's actually good. Tastes refreshingly sour. Soup can be refilled one time.

Luciano Sioson20:32 04/26/22
One of my favorite restaurants. Good food, ambience and service. This brand is solid, and this branch is one of the best, if not the best. Being in posh and serene Podium is already a plus, but the restaurant itself is nicely done. Bright and airy, with appealing decor.I like this branch a lot, because unlike other branches, like the one in Megamall for example, this one isn't crowded. They have just the right amount of tables, so even when the place is full, it doesn't feel crowded, and, most of all, its not too noisy. I think the restaurant's high ceiling also helps with the reduction in the noise. This makes dining here very pleasant and relaxing. I hate it when I eat in restaurants where you can't even hear your companions when they speak because the place is so noisy.Like I've said, the Manam brand is solid. They have one of the best takes on Filipino cuisine. All balikbayans and foreigners should be brought to a Manam restaurant at least once in order for us Pinoys to showcase what good Filipino food tastes like. Manam should also consider putting up branches in the US so that Filipino food is better represented there.Back to my experience in this branch. I and my wife ordered some of their kare kare. It had 'tuwalya' and beef chunks. It should have included oxtail, but, unfortunately, they didn't have any at the time we ordered, so they just added more beef chunks to compensate. It was still good though. The sauce was very thick and peanut-ty. We ordered a medium and we didn't finish it so we took home the leftover. We also ordered a small order of their garlicky fried bangus. It was a mistake. I should have ordered a medium. It was so good and I finished it by myself, leaving none for my wife. Good thing she was more interested in the kare kare that she left the bangus all to me.We also ordered a small beef tadyang. This was the only dish we ordered that I didn't like so much. It was good but it was too pricey for the serving size.Even the white rice here is of good quality and cooked well. A sign of a good Filipino restaurant.Even after we stopped eating because we were already full, we couldn't stop looking at the food being brought to other tables. They all looked yummy. We took a mental note of the other dishes we would like to try next time. For sure we are going to try the pancit with the squid ink. It looked amazing.Besides the beef tadyang, I think the prices are reasonable here. The quality is very good that you wouldn't mind paying for it. It would be worse if you paid a bundle and yet you weren't satisfied with the food. I would eat here again and again if I have the money.

Cozy and casual palce to eat in the middle of downtown Mandaluyong. Good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The prices are reasonable and the place is always filled with visitors. We tried the spagetthi which comes with bread stuffed with chesse, and it's really good. This is one of our always-go-to restaurants in the neighbourhood.

Food tasted great. Huge servings for a small price. Can be eaten by two persons. We ordered Sisig with Laing and Pork Ribs? Can't remember. What I remember is that the pork ribs were so soft they fall off the bones. And there was a strand of hair in our Laing. We also ordered ice cream which was cheap. It was delicious and can compare with other home made ice creams. We got Avocado ice cream and it was the perfect dessert! Would come back if I'm in the area.

This branch has a smaller space compared to the one in Quezon City but the food quality is still the same. Try their cheese bread and pastas. Also, for dessert, their chocolate ice cream is very rich in flavor.

This is the second time I ate in this place. They added a couple of new items on their menu which are really affordable and tasty. They also converted their garage as another dining area to accommodate more customers. Good points prices are still affordable from my last visit 2 years ago. Wait time is reasonable about 10_15 minutes. Their gravy is taste good. Opportunities most of the food that we ordered are a bit salty. My quarter pounder is a bit burned on the sides. Maybe they can add lettuce but it's just 85pesos not that bad. Nachos is like crackers that you buy in sari sari store but I guess its OK since it's just 60pesos. I hope they have a parking pass to prevent towing since this resto is along boni hi way. Good thing I always eat here on week ends. For an amount of 480 pesos my family is satisfied with their meal.

Aoi Matsubara08:05 08/03/17
Last night was too rainy and we were so hungry that my husband and I decided to eat on the first food house we saw. It was either here or Sgt. Zeg Burgers. Since we already ate at Sgt. Zeg, we chose this place. I ordered the cheesy sausage while my husband got (as usual) the tapsilog. Both of us had bottomless red iced tea. There's a condiments area where there are generous servings of gravy and soup. The bathroom is conveniently hidden near the stairwell. Food is just borderline above average but nothing really special. I wish the veggie servings are more. Place is a bit big and not that crowded. Service crew are pretty fast so even without telling them I wanted a refill, they were right beside me filling up the glass. Price is reasonable for the food. Will eat here again.

Raphael Charles Pinon16:06 04/27/17
This place was first introduced to me about 2 months ago. I remember the first thing I bought - T-Bone steak. It was above average, not great, but not bad either. The second time I ate here, I tried the pork sirloin, and it has been the staple I eat here. The gravy alone is great. It was not until the third time I ate here that I discovered the free soup - and oh my goodness! It's something else - one of the best free soup I've ever tasted in my life (so far). They have free condiments. Of course, I always take things in moderation so as to not dilute my experience with the meals. My overall experience has not been all love and roses. The last time I ate here, which was around April 22, 2017 - around lunch time. The first time I tried their Lomi was a very horrible experience. Really, really bad. The free soup was too salty. That alone was an indicator that the other meals were going to be bad. The person that I was with that day chose the pork sirloin - had me taste it, and it was awful. Tasteless. The pork was also undercooked and it was like eating gum. Now my Lomi was also bad. It was not as thick and gooey as I expected (from the last time I saw someone eat it). The carrots were undercooked and were crunchy - I am not a rabbit, I want my food cooked well done. The Lomi noodles insides were raw and were hard on the inside soft on the outside. So after the meal, I spoke with the attendant. He mentioned that the original cook was on leave and the person cooking was only a temporary replacement. So I personally forgave them that day. While the person and I were walking back, they pointed out that the cook did not have a hairnet. Oh well. I was unable to call that out, but I do hope they improve on that. Overall, my experience was above average - 4 stars. Once I eat here again, I hope the service becomes better.
